Time for more touring!
We went to National Museum of Natural History.
Here are some pictures.
And then I saw the biggest diamond ever!
The Hope Diamond is one of the most famous jewels in the world, with ownership records dating back almost four centuries.
Weighing 45.52 carats, its exceptional size has revealed new findings about the formation of gemstones.
The jewel is believed to have originated in India, and is known to have been cut from the French Blue (Le bleu de France), presented to King Louis XIV.
Since 1958, it has been on exhibition at Washington’s National Museum of Natural History.
It was last reported to be insured for $250 million.
On our way back we went for dinner at Ledo's.
I had the best pepperoni pizza!
