Walking around in SF

You have a lot to do and to see while you are in San Francisco!

Here are some points of interest.

Golden Gate Bridge
Iconic art deco span opened in 1937

Fisherman's Wharf 
It is a neighborhood and popular tourist attraction in San Francisco, California. 

Alcatraz Island 
It is located in the San Francisco Bay, 1.25 miles offshore from San Francisco, California, United States

Golden Gate Park
It is a large urban park consisting of 1,017 acres of public grounds.

Ghirardelli Square 
It is a landmark public square with shops and restaurants in the Fisherman's Wharf area of San Francisco, California. 

Lombard Street
It is an east–west street in San Francisco, California that is famous for a steep, one-block section with eight hairpin turns. The street was named after Lombard Street in Philadelphia by San Francisco surveyor Jasper O'Farrell.

Asian Art Museum of San Francisco 
One of the most comprehensive Asian art collections in the world, with more than 18,000 works of art in its permanent collection, some as much as 6,000 years old.

Palace of Fine Arts Theatre 
Itis a monumental structure originally constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in order to exhibit works of art presented there.

San Francisco Museum of Modern Art 
It isa modern art museum located in San Francisco, California.

Lands End 
It is a park in San Francisco within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. 


We decided to take the Muni and mostly walk around San Francisco!
(The San Francisco Municipal Railway (SF Muni or Muni) is the public transit system for the city and county of San Francisco, California.
